Red’s Best, is a Boston based seafood wholesaler that aggregates from small, community-based fishing boats. Our mission is to support the livelihoods of American fishermen while sustaining fisheries for harvest. We are proud to currently partner with over 1,000 New England boats annually. By choosing Red’s Best, you, too, can support a historic industry and reduce the undue burden on our natural resources caused by importing fish. Red’s Best fish supports fishermen whose livelihood depends on the catch.

Hardwick Farmers Cooperative Exchange, Inc. (Founding Member)

Hardwick Farmer’s Coop is a retail supply store selling agricultural supplies and feeds.  We also carry pet feeds and supplies, work clothing and have a large lawn and garden offerings.  We were started in 1914 by 12 local farmers and now have over 2100 members/owners.


Mountainside Market Bakery and Cafe

Mountainside Market is a locally owned specialty food store, bakery, and cafe. We work with local producers to provide the finest, high-quality products including locally roasted coffees, ice cream, and dairy products. Everything in our cafe is freshly made daily from soups and artisan sandwiches to quiche and salad. We carry a unique selection of beer and wine and have a grab-n-go case full of deliciously prepared meals ready to take home. Visit us for a piping hot cup of coffee and incredible bakery item by the fire or outside on our terrace! We are open every day from 7 am to 7 pm.


Shrewsbury Farmers’ Market

Our vendors sell meat, eggs, veggies, fruit, soap, alpaca products, jams, jellies, coffee, pickles and relishes, flowers, honey and honey products, dog treats, breads, desserts, and crafts. We have educational activities for adults and children and live music.

Worcester Regional Food Hub

The Worcester Regional Food Hub is dedicated to improving access to local, healthy foods and incubating small local food businesses in order to create a more robust food ecosystem.

Our work is twofold; we run a wholesale aggregation and distribution operation, connecting produce from small and mid-size farms to institutions in central MA and beyond, and a commercial incubator kitchen providing rental space, technical support, and services to both startups and growing food businesses. The Food Hub was created in 2015, and it is currently headquartered at the Worcester County Food Bank in Shrewsbury.

We specialize in the Education, Aggregation, and Transportation of local food to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and consumers. Our local farmer dinner series connects the community to the farms and producers of central Massachusetts.


The Kitchen Garden

The Kitchen Garden is a family owned and operated country store. Locally produced cheeses, milk, maple syrup, and honey, can be found here year round. In our kitchen, we bake daily Finnish coffee bread, pies, bread, muffins, and more. Browse our bookshelves; check out our gifts. Seasonally we carry fresh local produce, plants, apples, cider, pumpkins, trees, and wreaths. Our ice cream shop is open from May to September. The coffee pot is always on!
